Handsome Boys

After a brief run-in with his sister who had a pair of scissors, Cole was up for his first haircut.  It turned out rather nice, and he looks so grown-up!

On the back, you can faintly tell where sister took a snip.  It's right at the base of his head, about half an inch above where the rest of his hair ends, you can see a blunt cut.  It's already growing in and invisible.

Carson also got a trim and just look at my handsome boys!
(The cape was his Christmas gift from my sister.  LaNita, he LOVES it!  If he's not wearing it, he's trying to make anything else into a mock cape.)

Featuring Evie and Hello Kitty

When Evie took her school shopping trip with GrammaB, all this pretty girl wanted was PINK and Hello Kitty!  (Luckily, Gramma's pretty sensible and made sure she got a few milder things, too.)  Today, we took her to a sister in our ward and got her a cute little haircut!  These, with the upcoming schoolyear beginning, made excellent reasons to go take pictures in the backyard!!  (Sidenote: I LOVE the willow as a background!  And the tons of grass so I have room to move around!)

So excited for school, she's jumping for joy!

Absolutely my favorite picture of the bunch.

I told her to spin around to I can show off how adorable the layers in the back are.

Evie, Girls Together, Hair Flowers

I mentioned on Facebook that Evie's latest past-time is to de-wing flies, making them 'ants'.  I just thought I ought to document that. :)

The girls were excited today.  Especially when I pulled out the camera.  They're such hams! :)

I had a request for the zipper flower, so I took a picture of it, along with the other flower that I finished yesterday.  The top one is a pretty time-consuming one where you cut several circles of a synthetic fabric and lightly singe the edges, then layer them for a rosey effect.  The bottom is the famed zipper flower.  I found the tutorial on youtube - actually there were several, but I liked this one best.
