Fresh Start

Evidently, we're having new beginnings all over the place!  I'm getting this blog going in the hopes that I can post pictures again, and putting the old blog into a book - which is proving to be a much larger task than I expected.  But I'm enjoying the learning experience; it's been an excellent way to do a little relaxing when I get depressed over the fact that I've packed my sewing machine or that my walls are suddenly bare.  This is one project I can work on as long as the computer's functional.  (Knock on wood)  So as moving takes over our lives the next couple of weeks, look here every now and then and I'll see if I can't get newsy things up.

Lizzie's Dual Birthday Party

The second part of Lizzie's birthday was held at a nearby Monkey Joe's.  It's a play center with all kinds of bouncy fun things.  Carson would NOT stay in this section for kids his age - his sisters were having way too much fun!

 Lizzie jumped right in and laughed the entire time.

 Evie began with trepidation.  Eventually, she warmed up to it, though.

 Lizzie opened gifts from her Grandma and Grandpa B.

 And got to sit in a cool giant chair - which she could barely stay in.

 We saved and re-used the cake from my mom's visit b-day celebrations, because, who needs more cake? :)

 These are the pictures of the celebration we held with my mom just an hour before she had to dash to the airport.

 This puzzle has gotten TONS of love!
