Conference Activities

The first weekend in April was General Conference.  We listened and worked on different things.  Evie and my mom painted a tea-set that Evie had received for her birthday.  Aaron and the girls put a puzzle together; it actually took just barely less than the 4 sessions' time it was worked on, so it was a pretty perfect activity!  I colored more on the kids' file folders, of which I still have yet to get a  picture.  It was wonderful to listen to the prophets and leaders of our church speak to us!  For me, personally, I felt like many of the speakers either touched on or spoke a lot about trials and the Holy Ghost.  In retrospect, it may be that I noticed those talks more because I felt tried and was relying on the Holy Ghost a lot through this trial of unexpected hysterectomy.  I loved Conference, either way!

These first two pictures are the painting process.

This third one is the next day, after the paint set and she baked it for permenance.  All she wants to do now is have a tea party so she can use her own set to serve her guests.
