Calista, Kellen, Wes and Mia joined Aaron and me for a hike up Parfrey's Glen in Devil's Lake State Park. This was the second time Aaron and I have been, but the company made it so much easier and we made it all the way to the waterfall at the end of the trail this time! The glen was a beautiful as ever!
Aaron was so chagrined to realize that the place we stopped with all the kids was really only ten minutes to the waterfall. We realized, though, with all the giant rocks and the water crossings, we never would have made it with all the kids. Aaron was so proud to get to the waterfall!
This one rock was interesting, with all the little tiny rocks in the side we can see here, but it also was fairly slanted on the other side, making a perfect setup to recreate Ariel's 'Part of Your World' splash. Calista was happy to accommodate me, and it was fun to just be silly!
