Love the fact that Evelyn wants to spend time with you, brushing your hair and putting silly styles in it; how she begs for five more minutes of a board game with you, or lights up to cook a meal with you - another day she will want time to herself.
Listen to Lizzie's questions, however many times she repeats them and pay attention every time she comes in and tells you, "I just want to tell you one thing," even if it seems silly to you at the moment - someday she'll ask others and not worry about your opinion.
Remember these days when Carson, upon the simple word, "bed?" as a suggestion, grabs Puppy and toddles down the hall, to fall giggling onto his pillow and snuggle into his blanket - one day you will wait up just so you can see him get in late at night.
You are already a good mom to do what you do, but you can be a better mom if you cherish these times that seem small. The small moments add up to make what these beautiful children will think of and feel for you decades out. Love them.
