At the beginning of the summer, just before school let out, the little kids and I were over at Grandma's! I took some pictures of my nieces (sneak-peek of that photo shoot), and the kids played outside.
Grandma generously offered this plant, which wasn't growing or thriving anyway, for the kids to drown...er...water.
All that water, eventually, we just had a handful of kids running around naked except for underwear/diapers. They loved it!
After Grandma's, we went to Evie's school. It was her 'author day'. We got to see all - or nearly all - of her writing through the year. There were fiction, non-fiction, story-style, reports, and poems. What a smart first grader!
