Cole - 6 Months

My name is Cole.  I am six months old!

I love to sit up - in fact, if you lay me down, I'm probably going to fuss a bit.

I am okay with being on my tummy; when I'm on my tummy, I can grab at things or pull myself up on my hands and knees, which is really fun to do!

 

I think I'm a great singer and dancer!  I love to bounce - sitting, standing or laying down on someone's knees!  When I'm almost asleep, I start coo-ing, and Mommy thinks it sounds like I'm singing myself to sleep.

 

I LOVE to eat!  Rice cereal and pears are my current favorite, and I'll eat squash, peaches and bananas okay.  Put peas in my mouth and you're likely to be changing your shirt and mine. 

 

 I sleep great!  I like to take my naps either snuggling up with Mommy on the couch or swinging in my swing.  The crib's alright; I just get frustrated if I don't get noticed right away, then I wiggle and flip over until my head's up in a corner with blankets twisted and tossed around.

 

I have a tooth coming in, just barely under the gum, but Mommy can see it almost breaking through.  To make it feel better, I suck on my fingers, hand, thumb, toes or anything but a pacifier.  Then again, I always have liked to have things in my mouth, just not a pacifier.  Big sister, Evie, is also getting that tooth in, but she's getting it for the second time around!
