Christmas Day - At the Big House

After our own Christmas morning mayhem, we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa's for brunch and more madness...ahem, gift exchanges.

Evie was so excited to get a set of walkie-talkies!  She patiently let Daddy get them all sorted out and ready for play.  She and Lizzie have had endless conversations - mostly consisting of 'Lizzie.  Do you read me?'...'Yes, I read you'...'I love you [Mommy/Daddy/Lizzie/Evie/Everyone]'

Dad and I worked together to give this canvas to MomB.  It says 'Posterity of D and J B.' across the top, with each of the kids and their families beneath.  It turned out really nice and I'm glad I could have helped with it!

Lizzie loves Brave and was thrilled to get a Merida doll.

David and Mom working together on Dave's gift.

Aaron got a tablet and, while he got it for some gaming/movie watching, he already loves taking it to Church and having all the standard works and manuals right there in his pocket.  He also shares it with his kids, who love Angry Birds and memory games.

Cole has spent a lot of time playing with this, and he already obviously loved it on Christmas morning!  He was so content to snuggle up with family friend, Heather, and explore it.

MomB alternates years and Christmas decorations.  This year was the year for her Christ tree, with glass balls, all white, printed with the different names Christ is known by, with white lights and small glass things.  This is one of my favorites.
