Easter Basket Hunt (Our House)

We hide our kids' baskets, and this year, Aaron and I hid one from eachother as well.  It was pretty funny that the baskets were found in reverse-age order.  Cole was quick to spot his under the desk.

Carson's took a little more work, hiding behind a quilt in the quilt rack.

Lizzie finally found hers in the game closet and spilled it in her excitement.

Evie, where could your basket be?  (We asked her while we took this picture and she still hadn't found it.  Sneaky, right?  She looks at this picture with a bit of chagrine now.)

Mine and Aaron's weren't well-concealed; we agreed to go easy on one another because we were both tired when we did the hiding.

After church, we had leftovers from the day before's family get-together and made a batch of resurrection rolls.  The kids are getting better about the story and helping make them every year.  Whenever we make them, I think of that first year I tried and was so frustrated I wanted to forget it.  But now it's already becoming a tradition they love like I do.
